Philly & Rowan’s Chatham Dockyard wedding

As soon as Philly and Rowan began speaking to us about their wedding at The Dockyard Chatham, we knew it was one we really wanted to be a part of. Combine an epic couple with a neat venue, and you’re on for a winner. As far as wedding venues go, Chatham Dockyard has to be the most unique we’ve ever shot at. I mean, where else has three of its own warships? This place is so rich in history and unbelievably incredible to photograph. It’s no wonder it’s been used as a set for so many films and series. 

Both being lovers of all things nautical and naval history, which is something they incorporated a lot of into their wedding day, Philly and Rowan were the perfect couple to get married here. Honestly, you’d be hard-pushed to find a couple better suited to their wedding venue. The day was packed with emotion and laughter, precisely what documentary wedding photographers like us love to capture.
